Denver is in an extreme cold snap at the moment. In my seven years in Colorado I cannot recall another time where our night time low was -8 degrees! Quite honestly this sort of weather is absurd. I guess I could call myself fortunate to have a desk job when the temps dip this low. What gets me the most is the fact that you simply can’t do very much outdoors. Breaking up my day with an hour of running, cycling, or just walking around Denver makes the second half of my day that much better for me. I’m able to unplug for that short period of time at the midpoint of my day and I can push through just about any analysis the burrito world can throw at me.
On the bright side the weather looks to improve to a more seasonal temperature later this week. I’m ready for the December thaw or maybe even a little taste of a late Indian Summer!
