So my office cleared out at about 2pm on the eve of Turkey Day so I decided to take advantage and headed out on a mountain bike ride.  It was a perfect afternoon for a ride at Green Mountain in Lakewood.  I hadn’t ridden Green in a few weeks due to the snow and I took a chance going out there with snow still visible in the foothills.  My gamble paid off and I was greeted to mostly dry trails.  That’s not to say I didn’t get muddy, some of the north facing trails had some snow and slick mud.  It felt great to get out and get some miles in on the mountain bike before the long weekend off from work.  Here are some pictures from the ride:
