Favorite race course: This race is no longer around, but the Northfield Power Circuit in Northfield, MA…Huge climbs, huge downhills, and always seemed to fall on the hottest and most humid day of the summer.

Strengths on the bike: My strengths lie in climbing, but it usually takes until July each year before I can consider myself a climber again.

Favorite activities off the bike: Eating and cooking, hanging out with friends, nerding out at work,  skiing, running, perfecting my ice cream recipe, photography, traveling.

Nickname: I have picked up a few over the years so here they are in no particular order…”Big Ry” since I was a fat kid growing up *seriously*, “Rault” from my mountain bike buddies in New England (and one of them is now living here in Denver), “The Admiral” a good all around guy by the name of Collin Becker came up with this one during my CU Cycling days.

Favorite Food: I have a wicked bad sweet tooth, so my favorite food is definitely Ice Cream.  In the actual meal side of food I would say my favorite food would be Mexican Food and Burgers.

Music: I definitely have a wide range of music tastes but to name a few of my favorite artists: Dispatch, O.A.R., G Love & Special Sauce, Nirvana, Victor Wooten, Braddigan, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Blind Melon, Rage Against the Machine…

Favorite Quote: “Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride.” – JFK
